Samuel Schülein

Samuel Schülein received the B.Sc. degree in physical therapy from the University of Applied Science of Fulda, Germany, in 2008, the M.Sc. degree of physical therapy from the Philipps University of Marburg, Germany, in 2010. Since 2011, he is the Head of Movementlaboratory at the Geriatrics Centre Erlangen, Waldkrankenhaus St. Marien, Germany. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree Doctor of Human Biology (Dr. rer. biol. hum) at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany. His research interests include early detection of fall risks in elderly people, evaluation and development of assistive devices for example a soft biometic exoskeleton (XoSoft) and implementation of mobility assessments in frail elderly people using mobile healthcare technologies.
